There is always so much to do in London, no matter the weather or time of year. As Quarter 2 is well underway, I have highlighted a few events happening in London over the next few months that are worth checking out if you’re short of plans...
The London Marathon first took place in 1981 and has become one of the most popular marathons in the world. The route takes in many of London's best landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, The Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf. If you don’t see a 26 mile run as a fun Sunday, join the thousands of spectators on the streets for a carnival like atmosphere in London on Sunday 21st April.
Find out which team will take home the FA Cup, one of the biggest and oldest football competitions in the world. Watch the teams take the pitch at Wembley Stadium for the Women’s Final on the 12th of May and the 25th of May for the men’s.
Unfortunately for me, Cardiff City won’t be making an appearance in the final this year!
Every summer, Regent’s Park is taken over for a next level garden party showcasing the best food and drink that the UK has to offer.
Join over 55,000 people from the 12th until 16th June for a fantastic event. From my previous experience of attending Taste last year, I can certainly say that it is certainly not one to be missed!
As we move through Spring and into Summer, festival season is upon us featuring performers from a wide span of genres.
Headliners include Taylor Swift, Green Day and Kings of Leon, amongst other musicians and up-and-coming acts. Don’t let the weather put a dampener on some great live music.
Two extra days off in May to spend exploring and enjoying what London has to offer. Book in to enjoy a wide range of family-friendly activities like visiting one of London’s museums or parks. Spend time with friends at one of many cool rooftops or explore one of London’s neighbourhoods you’ve always wanted to look around.
