Progressing your career

Diversity & Inclusion sits at the heart of Goodman Masson.
We recognise the importance and necessity of working in partnership, listening to experts and being open to new ideas.

We have introduced measures to accelerate change within our own business as well as ensuring our service encourages and supports growth in diversity for our clients and community.

We have five internal networks: Pride, Unity, Balance, Access, Environment including our D&I Working Group, which is a place to share ideas, initiatives and help to educate and influence change.

D&I Working Group

As an organisation and as individuals, we’ve realised we need to do more. We need to be vocal, take action and stand up for what we believe in: power in diversity.

Our D&I Working Group meets once a month to discuss areas in which we can be a more inclusive company, highlight and share D&I topics with the wider business and amplify the voices of those who may be underrepresented.

Our charity partner, XLP, helps create positive futures for young people growing up in inner-city London. Over the last four years, we have raised over £20,000 for XLP!

From our CEO completing the Marathon Des Sables to selling raffle tickets for a place on our annual Super Trip.

Campaign LGBTQ+

We are a founding member of Campaign. An initiative that advises recruitment agencies on the ways they can make their workspace safe and inclusive for LGBTQ+ staff.

It offers friendship, advice, and emotional support to ensure people are able to bring their authentic selves to work.

Message from Lenna

Executive Director of Diversity & Inclusion

"I’ve had the pleasure of working with Goodman Masson for over three years. When I was brought on board, GM were eager to make progress in defining and delivering on their diversity and inclusion aims. When I started, we were already in a good place with employee networks.

Developing strategic plans and working across the organisation, I get to see the progress being made in the big and the small changes. Awards aren’t everything, but to be recognised multiple times for our diversity and inclusion commitments and efforts tell you how we compare to others in recruitment. There’s always more everyone can do; the great thing here is that GM is open to improving by continuously learning and continuously improving, and that’s all anyone can ask for."
