Having only been here for a short while, I have already experienced growth in my salary and am super excited to see what the significantly higher GPs will do for my take-home in the long run! The ability to leverage existing relationships across different teams with recruiters who have been established in their markets for years (longer than I’ve even been in recruitment!) has been a real sea change for me. The buy-in which I’ve experienced from senior clients has been a breath of fresh air, and I’m really looking forward to furthering this!

Towards the end of 2022, I started spending more time in New York, and this is when I realized I wanted to tackle the US market. After weeks of internal discussions, we decided to launch our US Banking & Financial Services which led to me moving to New York in April 2023. I’m very lucky that Goodman Masson has provided me with an environment to learn from some of the best in the industry and has invested in me personally to reach my full potential.

Thanks to the holiday loan, I was able to take two trips of a lifetime. I had the most incredible  experience swimming with turtles in Antigua and dolphin spotting in Canada!

The main things I like most are the autonomy to grow my own desk, the flexibility GM provides, the good commission scheme and the people I work with – this makes Goodman Masson a place I enjoy working and is why it has been my first and only recruitment job for a decade!
